(San Francisco) October 24, 2018 – IT Convergence is happy to announce our Senior Director of Engineering, Heidi Ratini, as the winner of the Oracle Excellence Award for Leadership in Infrastructure Transformation.
The award honors 10 leaders with demonstrated capabilities of leveraging Oracle technologies to improve their customers’ infrastructure experience. Oracle selects those who have delivered value through reducing IT operating costs, improving time to deployment, resulting in an increase in end-user productivity.
Specifically highlighted by Oracle was Heidi’s contribution to an improved quality of service for hosted cloud customers:
“Heidi is recognized today for her innovative use of Oracle Linux and Oracle VM to modernize the hosted cloud experience for IT Convergence’s customers. Using these technologies, she improved processes and operations. As a result, their hosted cloud offering has seen improved uptimes, excellent customer retention rates and an increase in quality across the board.”
Heidi has long been instrumental to ITC’s Hosting and Managed Services practices and a champion of Oracle technologies. In her own words:
